Martin Akeret (founder of Poetenpop Records, Zurich) started his project POPSHOP in 2001. His debut album «My friend frigo» was loved by press and public in the same way. The refreshing and innovating sounds of POPSHOP probably are a new mixture between post-Detroit, technostyles and advanced pop. His 2nd album «Salon Bizarre» just appeared on RAYGUN and obtained maximum notes in all important electronic fanzines. These day's you can see his brilliant live performance in clubs and festivals worldwide.
