Tim first started playing at a commercial club in 1991, where he worked for four years. Meanwhile, in 1994, he started playing in a very well known club in Rotterdam; Nighttown. Here he has been playing underground techno to date. Furthermore Tim appeared live on dutch national television and radio broadcasts. Tim's first 12" came out in 1994 on Direct Drive; The Heartbreak ep. This in cooperation with George Ortega, with whom he now runs a publishing company called Procum. Apart from playing abroad with Misjah (New York, L.A., Sydney, Melbourne, Stuttgart, London, Lisbon, etc.), Tim has been performing live sets with Remco de Jong and David Spaans on several festivals and clubs (including Nighttown and Paradiso) under the name of Emphasis. In addition to his existing projects Tim will start a label mid-Februari 1998. This label goes under the name of Grammar and the first release will contain four tracks and two loops.
